Lord, Your Sacred Heart has stirred within my soul,
filling my weakling heart with Your Merciful Love.
At the time of Adoration on Corpus Christi Sunday, You came when I most needed You.
And today, on this very early morning Saturday of the Immaculate Heart,
with that steady tread of rain pouring down from You,
it is You, O Lord, who are my portion and cup.
It’s not my love for You, but the Love You have for me.
It is Your Love that wishes in me the fullness of Your embrace.
Where all else seem to fail,
it is You, O Lord,
You are here with Your crook and staff.
And yet in gentleness and kindness,
You sustains and fills my quenching soul with Your Love and Grace.
Amen.
