Catholic AIDS Response Effort (CARE)

We are pleased to inform you that the Catholic AIDS Response Effort (CARE) will be present in our parish next weekend to conduct an Outreach Programme. This initiative seeks to raise awareness about the challenges faced by People Living With HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) and to encourage greater compassion and understanding as a sign of God’s love.

As part of their outreach, there will be:

  • A display of educational materials to help deepen awareness and understanding of PLWHA.
  • A sale of handcrafted items made by CARE’s beneficiaries, including rosaries, candles, crucifixes, tote bags, and potted plants. 3D printed Lightboxes and toys specially crafted by our volunteers and assembled by our beneficiaries are also available.

🕯️ All proceeds will go towards supporting CARE’s mission and activities.

We encourage all parishioners to extend your generous support to this meaningful initiative.

Recycling

Every item we throw away has a right place. A piece of paper. A plastic bottle. A can.

When we throw things into the wrong bin, we break the journey. We lose the chance to give that item a new life.

As Pope Francis reminds us in Laudato Si’, caring for creation begins with our everyday choices.

Recycle right.

Registration of Pregnant Mothers

To help families prepare early for their baby’s baptism, we invite pregnant mothers in their second trimester to register with the Parish Office.

Lunchtime Masses near your Workplace

With God’s grace, the Catholic Prayer Society managed to secure two more new locations (Collyer Quay and Jurong East w.e.f. 10 Mar).

Please be vigilant against a recent rise in scams. Fraudsters are impersonating our clergy and church leaders via email and messaging apps.

Important Reminders:

No Private Solicitations: Our priests will never contact you via private message to ask for money, bank transfers, or gift cards.

Verify First: If you receive a suspicious request, do not reply. Call your parish office directly to verify.

Official Emails: Authentic emails from the Archdiocese and clergy come mostly from @catholic.org.sg addresses.
