“Turn up the praise, turn down the waste!”
In the spirit of caring for creation and our community, we’re collecting only preloved pants, jeans, shirts, children’s clothing, and books — all clean and in good working condition. We kindly ask that only the items listed be donated. We are unable to accept any other items.
This special collection is part of our journey towards a meaningful celebration later.

PRAYER OF BLESSING FOR CATHOLIC EDUCATORS
Lord Jesus, you are our Good Shepherd.
Pour forth your Spirit on all Catholic educators,
whom you have called and chosen.
Give them a mind of wisdom and discernment,
a heart full of love and compassion,
a face of gentleness and patience,
a voice to teach and encourage,
and hands to comfort and lead.
Guide and empower them to be good role models,
to inspire and shepherd those entrusted to their care.
Strengthen them in adversity to be steadfast in the Gospel values.
Bless also those in leadership roles:
strengthen their faith and lead them in your footsteps
of servant leadership,
so that through their stewardship,
those in their charge may come to know your love and salvation.
May our Catholic schools be beacons for formation,
where men and women of integrity and talent are raised,
to further your loving purpose of redemption
by their contributions to the world.
Amen.

Mission to Fang, Chiang Mai, Thailand
10–14 September 2025
In Northern Thailand’s remote mountain villages, poverty is deepened by isolation. There are no hospitals, no roads, no light—only long, cold nights and aching silence. This September, we invite everyone to join us on a mission of compassion—not to where it is comfortable, but to where it is needed. We will journey to the forgotten villages of the Fang District in Chiang Mai Province, home to ethnic minorities such as the Karen, Hmong, and Lahu peoples—Catholic communities who have waited generations for help that never came. We will be that HELP.
Mission to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
10–14 October 2025
This is more than a mission—it is a call to love, to serve, and to be transformed. We will bring hope and tangible support to some of the most vulnerable: orphans, the poor, the sick, and the abandoned.

Rebuild Hope, Restore Lives:
Support Gaza Rebuilding Efforts
In Gaza, countless families have lost everything — their homes, their schools, their safe spaces. Yet, even in the midst of devastation, hope remains. Together, we can help rebuild not just buildings, but lives, dreams, and futures.
Caritas Humanitarian Aid & Relief Initiatives, Singapore (CHARIS), is appealing for donations to support the rebuilding efforts for those affected by the ongoing conflict. Your generosity can provide shelter, education, and a chance for these families to begin again.
Small Gifts, Miraculous Impact.
You can donate via credit card or PayNow through CHARIS website. Alternatively, you can send a crossed cheque payable to “Humanitarian Aid Fund”, indicate “Gaza Rebuilding Efforts” at the back of the cheque, send the cheque to: CHARIS, 55 Waterloo Street, #07-02 Catholic Centre, Singapore 187954.
Please contact CHARIS at 6337-4119 or scan the QR code in the poster above to visit their website for more information.
Together, let’s help Gaza rise again

has launched the Schema!
The Schema is a document containing the draft priorities and recommendations for our diocese for the next 10 years. It is the result of wide and deep consultation and discernment among the faithful lay, clergy and religious communities.
All are invited to read the Schema, engage in conversations within your parish and communities, and share with us your discernment on it.
The Schema is available on the APC website at https://www.catholic.sg/apc-schema/. There, you can also find a Schema Workbook which provides a guide on holding conversations on the Schema within your community. Scan this QR code to access the link:

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Our Archdiocese has been working to build a more vibrant, evangelising and missionary Church. In sharing the Good News, we are bringing the hope and love of Christ to vast numbers of people.
Within our Church today, however, there are currently no premises large enough for our organisations and communities to hold their activities on a large scale. After much study, we concluded that the Church’s largest freehold site at 49 Upper Thomson Road could optimally be used to house major Archdiocesan organisations, a convention centre with overnight retreat facilities, a home for senior clergy – and more – for the long-term needs of the Church.
Beyond physical infrastructure, such a Catholic Hub can bring about a greater depth of communion. The facilities and organisations located there will enable collaboration for a more effective witnessing of the Gospel to the people of Singapore and reap economies of scale.
