When we extend hospitality to others, we’re not trying to impress people, we’re trying to reflect God to them. As we serve our Lord, we may meet someone who really needs a friend…and we can fill that need. Maybe we can make an eternal difference in the person’s life, just because we choose to be friendly and helpful.

Trained Special Needs Catechists
Pope Francis has called the Catholic Church to be a welcoming Church. As we welcome our students into our religious education classes, it’s important that we see each one as a child of God with special talents and special gifts; remember that you are seeing the face of Jesus. Teaching religious education is a splendid opportunity to share your love of God and the Catholic Church with your students.

Around Our Archdiocese
Young Stewards Conference 2022
29 Oct 2022 Saturday
10.30am – 3.30pm
SFX Major Seminary Building, Upper Bukit Timah
Catholic Foundation will be organising this year’s Young Stewards Conference on 29th October 2022. We are inviting speakers and involving young adults from all over the archdiocese to discuss and share about various relevant issues that young working adults face, focusing on the theme of Christian Stewardship.
Through this event, the Foundation hopes to build a spirit of gratitude and responsibility for God’s gifts among young adults, and to see giving of themselves with their time, talents or treasures as the call of being a Christian Steward.
Amidst the ongoing archdiocesan synodal discernment process and the recent archdiocesan assembly, we as the lay faithful have been entrusted and empowered by the Church to use our gifts to contribute to her life and be co-responsible for her.
In addition, Cardinal William Goh’s recent elevation to the Cardinalate is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit. We as the local Church have been empowered for greater work for God’s glory.
This conference invites young adults to respond to this call: To speak on important issues regarding our faith and provide a platform for us to connect, collaborate and co-create. We will explore in greater depth, on what it means to steward our time, talents and treasures for the Kingdom of God.
You can find more details about the event programme, speakers and their bios at: catholicfoundation.sg/young-stewards-conference-2022
We look forward to seeing you and your community at this year’s conference!
