Community
We are in need of
Trained Special Needs Catechists
Pope Francis has called the Catholic Church to be a welcoming Church. As we welcome our students into our religious education classes, it’s important that we see each one as a child of God with special talents and special gifts; remember that you are seeing the face of Jesus. Teaching religious education is a splendid opportunity to share your love of God and the Catholic Church with your students.

Around Our Archdiocese
10th World Meeting of Families
23 – 26 June 2022
We hope that you and your parishioners would join us at this event. It is the desire of the Holy Father to have multi-centred, diocese led events and activities to facilitate and encourage participation from all Catholics in this world meeting. It will be part of the current synodal journey of the Church, where a global gathering can prove to be a valuable experience of participation, communion, and mission for families.
The programme of the WMOF SG enables attendees to view the various conferences in Rome, whilst participating in localized panel discussions on these same topics. The theme – Family Love: A Vocation and A Path to Holiness, hopes that attendees will leave with insight and information that empowers them to strengthen relationships within their families, and bear witness to the importance of marriage and family to all of society.
Registration can also be via the website – https://www.familylife.sg/WMOF

New audiobooks from the
Daughters of St Paul
In his World Mission Sunday message, Pope Francis reminds us that “To be on mission is to be willing to think as Christ does, to believe with him that those around us are also my brothers and sisters.”
As an aid for the synod, a highly recommended book is Pope Francis’ encyclical on fraternity and social friendship, Fratelli Tutti, now available as an audio book so you can listen to it as you commute, walk, cycle, wherever you are. Also on audiobook is Nostra Aetate, the ever relevant Vatican II document on our relationship with other religions. Both available on Audible, and wherever great books are heard! Soon also on Spotify and Apple Music.
