Walk with Christ

This was parishioner Sharlyn Quah’s team’s name who took part in conquering and walking 500km to raise funds for low-income families in need of assistance and support.

Sharlyn, the Chair of Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) came together with others from the ministry and the parish and decided to form a team to walk with Christ with other sisters and brothers to bond over this meaningful and worthy cause.

SSVP youth from across Singapore had organised  the event under the umbrella of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP)

This walk was meant for anyone across Singapore to participate as virtual race – one can walk or run at one’s own time and space between 27 Nov and 26 Dec, while using an app to track the walk.

“The objective is to create awareness that SSVP has this programme to help families with babies. We are meeting the objectives and I am also having such  a fun time, getting to know one another better. And even better because we have a shared purpose and a common goal. We are reaching our 500km mark very soon!”
