Theme – Trusting in God’s Promises
The Liturgical colour theme is green for Ordinary Time. Our flower arrangements this week are composed of the colours green with blue and white.
Blue and green are the colours associated with God’s promises. Blue represents God’s faithfulness, covenant, and heavenly nature. While green symbolises hope, new life, and the fulfilment of God’s promises. White, as a symbol of holiness, is the colour of light symbolises joy, cleanliness, goodness, loyalty, innocence, unifying, and purity resulting from Faith that listens to God’s voice and believes. It also symbolises righteousness, conquest, victory, peace, saints, completion, triumph, and beginning of a new life.
