Theme: Our Father in Heaven
The Liturgical colour theme is green for Ordinary Time. Our flower arrangements this week are composed of the colours green with blue, a pinch of purple, and white.
Green symbolises praise, spiritual growth in Christ, nurtured by the Church and the Gospel. Green represents abundance, new life, anticipation, new beginning, flourishing healing, restoration, and hope. Blue is often associated with God our Father and heaven, representing holiness, God’s presence, and the divine nature. Purple is also associated with the Father, symbolising kingship, royalty, and authority. White, as a symbol of holiness, is the colour of light symbolises joy, cleanliness, goodness, loyalty, innocence, unifying, and purity resulting from Faith that listens to God’s voice and believes. It also symbolises righteousness, conquest, victory, peace, saints, completion, triumph, and beginning of a new life.
