The powerful manifestation of the Holy Spirit could not be ignored. They heard the Holy Spirit moving their hearts and they responded by giving testimony to Jesus Christ. Their testimony was not an apology, it was a loud proclamation. They were hiding from the Jews and with the power of the Holy Spirit, they came out to all and told them where they were and who they were. Fear of persecution was thrown out the window as they burst it open.

Is the Holy Spirit speaking to you today? We listen and sometimes we are inspired. Is there a response equal to the words that you had heard?

A heart filled with earthly concerns will not be a heart that has space for the Lord. It is usually what I want and what I can get. It is not what you want but what you need and first on the list is God our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. To get to know more about Jesus, you need the Holy Spirit. We who are baptised may have a house, a car, a career, a family, and be good in studies but where is the precious gift of the presence of our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit? Are you then not living an empty life?

Be still and quiet, listen, and listen attentively to understand so that He can continue to lead us in our lives.
