Theme – My Soul Proclaims God’s Greatness
The Liturgical colour theme is white for Ordinary Time. Our flower arrangements this week are composed of the colours white with blue, gold/yellow, pink and green.
White, as a symbol of holiness, is the colour of light symbolises joy, cleanliness, goodness, loyalty, innocence, unifying, and purity resulting from Faith that listens to God’s voice and believes. It also symbolises righteousness, conquest, victory, peace, saints, completion, triumph, and beginning of a new life. Blue symbolises Mary’s purity, royalty, and divinity. Gold/yellow is often associated with God’s greatness and glory, representing divine nature, majesty and eternal worth. Pink symbolises heavenly joy, grace, sweetness, gentleness, and elegance. Green symbolizes praise, spiritual growth in Christ, nurtured by the Church and the Gospel. Green represents abundance, new life, anticipation, new beginning, flourishing healing, restoration, and hope.
