“This Lenten season, I took a personal journey to be closer with God. Even with my grueling work schedule, I took the time to finish whatever I could within the working day and make it to church to be part of the 3-day Recollection and Stations of the Cross.
From deep within your heart, when you know you want to be closer to God, He will make it happen. You just got to believe and surrender yourself to Him. He died on the cross for us, a little sacrifice of our time is what I could do for Him.
Carrying that cross on my shoulders, gave me a little experience of how it might have felt for him that many years ago, except the one for our Stations of the Cross is way much lighter, which is still heavy for many of us.”
Psalms 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trust in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song.
