My Beloved Child,
I have longed for this moment with you.
I see the burdens you carry, the silent battles you fight, and the weight pressing upon your heart. I know the nights you lie awake, wondering how you will get through another day. I see the tears you hide from others, the prayers that feel like they go unanswered. You are not alone. I am with you, closer than you can ever imagine.
Are you overwhelmed by the pressures of school, unsure of the road ahead, or feeling lost in uncertainty?
Do you grieve the loss of someone dear to you?
Are you struggling with illness, weary from the fight, longing for relief?
Do you feel the weight of financial burdens pressing down, or the discouragement that comes with losing a job?
I know all about the pain you carry – I was there with you.
As you enter this sacred season of Lent, come, walk with Me. Step into the desert with Me, where I fasted, prayed, and faced the tempter’s whispers (Matthew 4:1-11). I know what it is like to feel weak. I have known loneliness, betrayal, and sorrow deeper than words can express. I carried it all—not just for the world, but for you.
Spend time with me in the Garden of Gethsemane, where like you, I cried out to the Father for relief,
‘Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done (Luke 22:42),’
– yet I surrendered in love. I felt the weight of every pain you would ever bear—and I took it all upon Myself so that you would never have to suffer alone.
I know your cross feels heavy. Some days, it may feel unbearable. But look at Me—I am right beside you.
When you feel too weak to carry on, lean on Me. Let Me take the weight. I have walked this road before you, and I will walk it with you now. When you feel abandoned, remember My cry on the cross: ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?’ (Matthew 27:46, Psalm 22:1). I spoke those words so that you would know that I understand your pain.
Yet, My Beloved, suffering is not the end of the story. Yes, there is a cross, but there is also an empty tomb. There is darkness, but then there is the dawn. Do not fear the trials you face; they are not without meaning or purpose. Just as My suffering brought forth redemption, so too will your trials – when united with Mine – bear fruit in ways beyond your understanding.
Lent is not just about sacrifice—it is about love. It is about My love for you. I do not ask you for mere rituals, but for your heart. Give Me your wounds, your weaknesses, your sins. Let Me love, heal, and transform you, even in your brokenness.
So this Lent, let Me walk with you, let Me teach you, let Me lead you into the joy of the Resurrection.
Will you, then, take up your cross and follow Me? (Luke:9:23)
With all My love,
Jesus
