Personal Reflection- 16 Sep 2018
What would you personal answer be to the question: “Who do you say that I am?” What are the areas of your faith that needs to be more visible? How would you deepen your faith?
What would you personal answer be to the question: “Who do you say that I am?” What are the areas of your faith that needs to be more visible? How would you deepen your faith?
Do my actions facilitate telling others about Jesus Christ? Do I tell others about Jesus Christ even though I am tired? Do I see a real need to tell others about Jesus Christ?
Do I know the wisdom of God’s laws? Do I know the theological reasons for the laws in the Church? Do I make up my own laws and regard them as more important?
Am I a true follower of Jesus Christ? If so where is the Word of God in my life? Do I know the wisdom of the world or the Wisdom of God my Father? Am I willing to follow Jesus Christ if it means being forsaken by others?
What are the visible signs of the growth of your faith? Do you ponder further on the things that you know about our faith? Is the Bread of Life a mystery that has been unfolding in your mind and heart?
Are you willing to state the truth even if it is not accepted? Do you recognise the truth or are you bothered by the messenger? Jesus is the Bread of Life. Who are you searching for?
What have been the visible signs of your faith? What has the Lord been calling you to do? What actions of others have inspired you to do great things for God our Father?
Who comes first in your life? What is the evidence of this priority you give to this person? To love is to sacrifice. What is the sacrifice that you are willing to make for those that you love?
Do you go against your very own nature to praise the Lord in all that you say and do? Are you inclined to grow in holiness? Does achieving world wealth and goals truly satisfy you?
How grateful are you for the people in your life? How have you expressed this gratefulness to them? Are you so used to your routine that you do not see the wonders of God our Father? How will you grow in your relationship with the Trinity during this ordinary times?
