What a glorious thing it is to be called and picked by God! Our primary calling from God is to be a child of God, to be a disciple, to make other disciples for the kingdom of God. Our secondary calling, is to then serve in the professions and communities we are in. The goal of every Catholic is to [...]
This is my short personal story which I thought to share with my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. As many may be aware, I am fighting my fifth Cancer with Lung Cancer being the latest. I currently go for weekly Blood test and Chemo treatment; every few months I also need to have a number of CT Scans with a [...]
Every year is different, however 2020 will be a year to remember for all of us. Due to the pandemic COVID-19, Eucharistic celebrations that are opened to the public have been cancelled and the churches have been closed since April. We are not able to celebrate the Eucharistic Celebration physically together as a congregation and pray with the Lord in [...]
In the Creation narrative found in Genesis 1: 1-2, we read, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters." Whether we feel if we were born to be a leader or not, all of us have been given leadership in some area. As Christ-centered leaders, our goal is to positively influence others and change hearts according to the word of God. We can show Christ in our workplace and through leadership by being responsible, living life with morals and [...]
One of the things I dislike more than public speaking is difficult conversations. According to Google, “A difficult conversation is any situation where the needs/wants, opinions or perceptions of the involved parties are diverse, with their feelings and emotions running strong. Usually the reason behind such strong feelings and emotions is that they have a lot at stake and they dread the consequences [...]
