Theme – Guided by God

The Liturgical colour theme is red with a pinch of blue, white, and green.

The liturgical colour for Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul are red. This color symbolises their martyrdom, as both apostles are believed to have been executed for their faith. Red symbolises fire and blood. Blue is associated with God the Father and the heavens, representing divinity, and the boundless nature of God. White, as a symbol of holiness is the colour of light which symbolises joy, cleanliness, goodness, loyalty, innocence, unifying, and purity resulting from Faith that listens to God’s voice and believes. It also symbolises righteousness, conquest, victory, peace, saints, completion, triumph, and beginning of a new life. Green symbolises praise, spiritual growth in Christ, nurtured by the Church and the Gospel. Green represents abundance, new life, anticipation, new beginning, flourishing healing, restoration, and hope.
