Theme: The New Creation

The Liturgical colour theme is white with blue and green.

White, as a symbol of holiness, is the colour of light symbolising joy, cleanliness, goodness, loyalty, innocence, unifying, and purity resulting from Faith that listens to God’s voice and believes. It also symbolises righteousness, conquest, victory, peace, saints, completion, triumph, and beginning of a new life. Blue is often linked to the concept of God’s commandments (“love one another”) and the law. Symbolically, blue represents God’s authority and the Holy Spirit, and is connected to the tablets of stone containing the Ten Commandments. Green symbolizes praise, spiritual growth in Christ, nurtured by the Church and the Gospel. Green represents abundance, new life, anticipation, new beginning, flourishing healing, restoration, and hope.
