Fat Tuesday
4 March 2025
Bring your old palms and some pork chops. ‘Fat Tuesday’ or Mardi Gras is a tradition celebrated the day before Ash Wednesday. On this night, people feast before undertaking 40 days of fasting during Lent and burn their old palms to be used on Ash Wednesday.
Come join us for a time of fellowship on 4th March anytime from 6:45 pm onwards. Along with your old palms, Parishioners are encouraged to bring your favourite dish for yourselves and for one other to share.
