Evening Brew – 29 Jun, Friday

It is a time to kick back, relax with a drink and talk about theology.  This discussion is proposed in the document, Evangelii Gaudium by Pope Francis.  There will be discussion and question and answer moments on any aspect of our faith and practices.

Movie Appreciation – 7 Jul, Saturday

Let us come together to watch the DreamWorks animation “Penguins of Madagascar”  Fr Terence will lead a discussion about how this movie can echo or challenge our faith, and help us appreciate movies from the Catholic perspective.

Sports Carnival – 8 Jul, Sunday

Engage in 5-a-side soccer, Captain’s Ball and a fun ‘telematch’ relay. It promises to be an afternoon of fellowship through sports for all ages. Thereafter there will be a fellowship dinner.

Burning Bush – 15, 22, 29 Jul

A process where participants will deepen their understanding of their baptismal calling and learn to walk as a disciple of the Lord.  These sessions will enable us to become more aware of living  our lives according to the Word of God.

Session on Lumen Gentium – 11, 18, 25 Jul, 1 Aug, Wednesdays

The Vatican II document that speaks about the Church will be explained so that participants can better understand their role in the Church. Details to follow

Calling all seniors to a High tea afternoon fiesta!
