Liturgical Ministries
“Whatever skills I have acquired, whatever gifts I have been given, I place them at Your service.” – St. Augustine of Hippo
The celebration of the Eucharistic Liturgy by individual ministries are performed in a dignified and reverend manner. Serving together with the Priest (who is the Main Celebrant) are the Lay Liturgical Ministers — Altar Servers, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Wardens and the Choir. Even as serving in these ministries is a source of joy and satisfaction, we are reminded that these ministries are for the benefit of the church and not for individual or personal piety, spiritual growth, or status. Serving at the Liturgy is an act of self-giving, not self-seeking; it is an act of love for the glory of God.
