One might feel the need for strong determination and commitment to go through all sessions.
But be rest assured, after the first session, it would no longer feel long at all!
Going beyond picking godparents, the sessions and the “homework” that went with them, sparked discussions between us parents about our Faith, our varied interpretations of the Bible readings for the week, and how these apply to us as modern parents in these times.
In this short journey together, it was so wonderful to know other parents and increase that feeling of belongingness to the Catholic community here in Singapore.
It is now our hope that new parents will enjoy the journey leading to the sacrament of Baptism as much as we did, and have a renewed appreciation of the rituals within the baptism rites!
