Christmas 2022

Reignite, Reconnect, Rediscover

As we prepare our hearts this Advent, we invite you to put up your petitions on the wall of hope. These petitions will be offered up at midnight EC on Christmas Day. Also, be an angel at the photo wall and have some fun!

We are blessed to have experienced the love of the Lord and we want others to come to know Jesus and share in the joy of Christmas. We are called to “Love Thy Neighbour” and we want to do this by giving out some 800 hand drawn Christmas cards to households of our parish’s immediate neighbours to wish them Merry Christmas. We need your help to decorate these cards. Blank cards will be distributed downstairs after the EC, do take some home, be creative in how you wish each family “Merry Christmas”. You can also do this with your children as a family event, and bring the cards back when you are done.

There is a table that has been set up outside the Parish office, you can help to decorate some cards while having your breakfast or while waiting for your meeting and your friends.

Wardens Recruitment

Join us as Wardens

When we extend hospitality to others, we’re not trying to impress people, we’re trying to reflect God to them. As we serve our Lord, we may meet someone who really needs a friend…and we can fill that need. Maybe we can make an eternal difference in the person’s life, just because we choose to be friendly and helpful.

Trained Special Needs Catechists

Pope Francis has called the Catholic Church to be a welcoming Church. As we welcome our students into our religious education classes, it’s important that we see each one as a child of God with special talents and special gifts; remember that you are seeing the face of Jesus. Teaching religious education is a splendid opportunity to share your love of God and the Catholic Church with your students.
