Intercessory Prayers
via Zoom
(Updated 28 May 2021)
Every Tuesday, 8pm
Jesus promised: “If on earth two of you agree in asking for anything, it will be granted to you by my heavenly Father” (Matthew 18:19). One of the most powerful ways we can pray as intercessors is together with others.
Please register via the URL above or by email to the Parish Admin Office if you wish to join in the intercessory prayers.
Join the Family Life Ministry
We are looking for parishioners who are not involved in any ministry to come forward to help us care for the family life in the Church. The ministry will look into the areas of providing information on marriage, couple health, parenting, events to build family wellness and support for those in challenging situations like divorce, dealing with teenagers and ageing parents.
Infant Baptism Preparation Team
We are looking for parishioners who will be helping us to prepare couples to have their babies baptised. The team will execute a programme that has been written for this purpose.
Baptisms take place only four times in a year in our parish.
Email your interest to: csm.secretariat@catholic.org.sg
Around Our Archdiocese
Why is Emotional Resilience something we should strive to build in our families?
Thursday, 15 July 2021
Firstly, it cultivates an awareness to manage our emotions in more helpful ways, and empowers us to persevere through trials. By creating a safe space in our family for one another to learn from our mistakes, it makes it easier for open communication to regulate our emotions. This allows families to grow in understanding and fosters a deeper emotional connection.

Young Stewards Conference
“(Re)claiming the Gift of Faith”
14 August 2021
3pm to 6pm.
We are inviting members of all young adult Catholic communities across the Archdiocese to be part of this meaningful and exciting event!
The ultimate vision is to build a network of young working adult communities and organisations, who can engage with each other and be thought leaders on critical issues faced by young adult Catholics today, in building the Church for tomorrow.
What does this event hope to achieve?
A platform where passionate voices become co-creators in shaping mindsets about faith in today’s world, and being stewards of God’s gifts, using them for the good of God and His Church in Singapore. Specifically, the Foundation seeks to connect young working adults in identifying our gifts, the specific needs of the Church where we are called to utilise our gifts, and to commit to (re-)give our gifts to Christ and His Church out of love.
We will hear testimonies from fellow Catholics, and reflect and share about the needs of the Church, our individual gifts and how we are called to use them in areas of:
- Personal Vocation & Mission in Action
- Creativity, Communion & Collaboration
- Compassion, Economic Justice & Stewardship

Authentic Discipleship
We are all called to be disciples of Jesus, though sometimes, it feels like we are just his fans, much like the crowd in a football stadium. We merely admire Jesus but are not ready to take up the cross and follow him. Come away, reflect and pray in this Authentic Discipleship retreat for the freedom and courage to be true disciples of Jesus.

“Ethics of Love, Sex & Marriage”
Starting 1 July 2021 (Thursdays)
7.30pm
By Rev Fr David Garcia, O.P.
What sexual behaviours does the Church consider immoral? Is pre-marital sex permissible? Should homosexual people be able to marry?
Why is there great discrepancy between traditional Christian morality and contemporary culture on sexuality? Can the Church impose its views on society at large? Who decides?
Let us explore these questions and much more in Module 4 of My Personal Moral Compass (MPMC) on Ethics of Love, Sex and Marriage!
Module 4 will start on 01 July 2021 and will be held weekly on Thursdays over Zoom live at 7:30 pm for seven weeks.
