  • Worked as chaplain of the General Hospital of Poitiers;

  • Known for his love of the poor and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Rosary;
  • Received a mandate from Pope Clement XI to be the “Apostolic Missionary” in France preaching many missions in western France;
  • Wrote many books, including “True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin”;
